With our BIM Circuit process we guarantee gentle and environmentally friendly textile cleaning of your workwear, mats, and towels as well as textiles containing harmful substances, especially oil-absorbent cleaning cloths with solvent residues. Workwear, protective clothing and special clothing is carefully controlled by our employees after washing and repaired if necessary before being returned to our customers. In the textile rental service, the chip system ensures that even individual, personal laundry items are always sorted back to the correct recipient in the laundry locker.

Our Cleaning Cloth

Production, Textile Cleaning and Recycling of Cleaning Cloths

At BIM, we operate all processes according to clear principles and a high, self-imposed standard of environmental protection. The use and disposal of disposable cleaning cloths is becoming increasingly expensive and is not environmentally friendly. For this reason, BIM set up its own cleaning cloth weaving mill in the 1990s, thus closing the gap in the market to establish a certified weaving mill for cleaning cloths in Germany, which did not exist at that time.

Cleaning cloths from BIM comply with DIN 61651 and are offered in three qualities for use in mechanical engineering, the automotive sector and printing shops (BIM Basic), in precision mechanics (BIM Tex), in optics and microelectronics (BIM Micro), and as oil absorbent cloths or oil absorbent mats (BIM Base).

A special feature of the BIM Basic cloth is the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. Whereas in the past the cleaning cloths had to be disposed of as hazardous waste after use because of the oil, grease and paint they contained, at BIM we even clean these cleaning cloths without waste water. In the modern, electronically controlled washing plant, the process wastewater is returned to the washing cycle after several treatment stages.

Environmentally Friendly: We Use Energy from the Roof

From the basement to the roof, modern environmental technology is used at BIM. To this end, the roofs of all production buildings are equipped with solar modules. As an environmentally conscious company, we use this environmentally friendly source of energy.

Energy production is part of our daily business. The amount of solar energy we generate on the roof can be tracked in real time by employees and guests at the plant.
